Product Description
Greenclaim Larvicide is an insecticide that is used to control and eliminate mosquito larvae. It is used in areas where standing water is present and contains a combination of Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti) and methoprene, an insect growth regulator (IGR). Bti is a naturally occurring soil-dwelling bacterium that is toxic to mosquito larvae and other invertebrates. Methoprene prevents mosquito larvae from developing into adults. This product is safe to use around animals and people, and is applied directly to water sources where mosquito larvae may be present.
